How long does it take to generate my story or letter?
The text is written in moments. Illustrations take a little longer — usually one to three minutes depending on the number of pages and the tier you chose. The page updates automatically as each image arrives, so you don't need to refresh.
Can I edit my story or letter after it's generated?
Yes. For Stories from the Cloud you can revise the text with our AI editor (edit credits are included with paid tiers and can be topped up). For Letters from the Deep you can regenerate a letter or its illustration, including describing the image you'd like. Letters are generated for you each day, with time to review and edit before they're shared.
What is your refund policy?
If something isn't right with a purchase, email us at info@botstories.ai and we'll make it right. Stories and Kids tiers are one-time purchases; Letters is a subscription you can cancel anytime to stop future charges. Refunds are handled case by case via Stripe.
How do I cancel my Love Letters subscription?
Go to your Letters dashboard → Settings → Subscription and cancel anytime. You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period, and you won't be charged again. If you just want a break, you can pause delivery from the Delivery tab without canceling your subscription.
How does Love Letters delivery work?
A new, personalized letter is generated for you once a day. If you're on Premium and turn on auto-send, the letter is emailed to your partner about five hours after it's generated — so you always have time to read or edit it first. You can pause daily letters at any time (which also pauses auto-send), then generate and share manually whenever you like.
How is my data used, and what about uploaded photos?
We use the details you provide only to generate your stories and letters, and we never sell your data. Reference photos (used for the kids Premium face-likeness feature) are stored securely and used solely to create your illustrations. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
Are the stories and images AI-generated?
Yes. Text is written by AI and illustrations are AI-generated. Results can vary and occasionally include small inaccuracies, so we recommend giving your story or letter a quick read before sharing or printing it.
