1. Acceptance

By using Bot Stories, you agree to these Terms. These Terms apply to all three product modes: Stories from the Cloud, Letters from the Deep, and Tales from the Stars.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Bot Stories.
  • You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for account security and activity under your account.
  • If you use kids-related flows, you represent that you are a parent/guardian or authorized adult providing child information.

3. Service Description

Bot Stories provides AI-assisted generation of personalized stories and letters, with optional image generation, sharing, and downloadable formats depending on selected tier and mode.

4. Payments, Trials, and Subscriptions

  • Stories and Kids paid tiers are one-time purchases.
  • Letters is a recurring subscription product with plan-based pricing and trial rules.
  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. You are responsible for any additional bank, card, or currency-conversion fees charged by your payment provider.
  • Billing is processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms and policies.
  • If payment fails, access to subscription-dependent features may pause until billing is resolved.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled manually on a case-by-case basis. To request one, email info@botstories.ai.

  • Stories from the Cloud and Tales from the Stars are one-time purchases. A refund may be requested before any story edits have been used.
  • No refunds will be issued once one or more story edits have been used on a Stories from the Cloud or Tales from the Stars purchase, as the edited content has already been delivered.
  • Already-generated or downloaded content cannot be revoked; an approved refund reverses any remaining edit access and tier upgrades.
  • Letters from the Deep is a subscription: cancel anytime from the billing portal to stop future charges. Cancelling during the free trial avoids any charge.

6. AI-Generated Content

  • Generated outputs may vary and can contain inaccuracies or stylistic variance.
  • You are responsible for reviewing outputs before sharing or external use.
  • We may enforce limits or moderation to keep outputs safe and lawful.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Violate laws or third-party rights.
  • Upload unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or exploitative content.
  • Attempt unauthorized access, abuse APIs, or bypass rate limits/payment controls.
  • Use the service to create harmful content involving minors.

8. Content and Sharing

  • You retain rights to your original inputs.
  • You grant us the limited rights needed to process your inputs and deliver requested features.
  • Share links are token-based; anyone with the link may access shared content until expiry or revocation.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, abuse, fraud risk, or legal requirements. You may stop using the service at any time and can request account deletion.

10. Disclaimer and Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Bot Stories disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
