Mina loved spending afternoons in her sunlit garden, especially with her friend Pip the rabbit. Pip, with his grey-tipped ears, always made her laugh as he hopped between the flower pots.

One afternoon, Mina spotted a small sunflower leaning sadly in its terracotta pot. Its head was drooping toward the ground.

“It must need more sun,” Mina said, gently touching a yellow petal. She looked up at the sky, wondering what to do next.

Mina had an idea! She fetched her bright yellow watering can and gave the sunflower a fresh, gentle drink. Pip wiggled his nose, watching closely.

But after a while, the sunflower still drooped in its shady spot. Mina knelt beside it, a little disappointed.

Pip nibbled grass and hopped to a bright, sunny patch. He twitched his nose at Mina. "Maybe he’s onto something," Mina thought.

Carefully, Mina lifted the heavy terracotta pot, following Pip to the sunny patch. The sunflower wobbled as she walked, but Mina moved slowly and steady.

They set the pot down in the warm sun. After a little while, the sunflower perked up, lifting its head to the sky.

Mina grinned and hugged Pip. “Thank you for helping,” she said. Mina felt proud—together, they’d found just what the sunflower needed.

From that day, Mina always checked her sunflower on sunny afternoons. Pip liked to nap nearby in the warmth, while Mina whispered, “We did it.”
